I've always been fascinated by the three men rescued from crosses at Tekoa, too. Since only one survived, it surely would have been a seeming miracle to those in the vicinity. As the story spread, it became apocryphal, steeped as it was in messianic and apocalyptic times. Given the overwhelming numbers of other coincidental episodes that link Josephus, the gospels, and the Essenes, Vermeiren's hypothesis about the retrograde chronology of Christian origins is completely plausible and fascinating to boot. A must read!

Hunt Emerson's take on Dante's Inferno is truly a divine COMEDY. The story is as good as ever with many an absurd, ribald twist. And while not all of the jokes had me rolling on the ground I did find my self thoroughly entertained throughout. Being a graphic novel the artwork has a fantastic cartoony quality fit for any issue of MAD or CRACKED. Emerson's style is high on detail and sure to keep you looking far longer than the text balloons would require. Being black and white, it's nice when the artist takes the time to flesh out the backgrounds. Be aware; this book does not shy away from minor nudity, but I don't believe that anyone attracted to this book would be the type to get offended easily. As far as the physical book itself; the semi-rigid cover, printing and binding are all of surprisingly high quality.

Dominik Irnich, MD, is Head of the Interdisciplinary Pain Centre at the University of Munich and Visiting Lecturer at various Universities and Intuitions across Germany, Europe and the USA.
Dr Irnich holds a Certificate of Acupuncture, a Certificate of Chinese Massage and a Certificate of Qigong (China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Centre, WHO Collaborating Centre of Traditional Chinese Medicine), a Certificate of Acupuncture (A, B) of the German Medical Acupuncture Association (DÄGfA) and a Certificate of Natural Medicine (Naturopathy) of KneippÄrztebund and is a practicing acupuncturist.
Dr. Irnich is a member of faculty at different institutions: German Medical Acupuncture Association (DÄGfA), Acupuncture Course at Julius-Maximilians-University of Regensburg, KneippÄrztebund, Structural Acupuncture Course for Physicians at Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.
His fields of research include basic science research (physiology of peripheral nociception including acupuncture) and clinical research on acupuncture and pain (research methodology, clinical effectiveness). Dr Irnich has published 34 original papers, 19 chapters in different textbooks, proceedings, reviews and editorials, 43 abstracts of poster and oral presentations and has given more than 100 invited lectures.

About the Author
Diego Comin is a Professor of Economics at Dartmouth since 2014. He received his BA in Economics in 1995 from the University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain and his PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 2000. Between 2000 and 2007, Comin was the Assistant Professor of Economics at New York University. Between 2007 and 2014, Comin served as the Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School (HBS) where he taught both in the MBA and in executive programs. He has also designed and led immersion programs in Peru and Malaysia for which he received the Apgar Prize for Innovation in Teaching from the HBS Dean.

Comin is Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research and Faculty Research Fellow in the National Bureau of Economic Research's Economic Fluctuations and Growth Program. Comin is a fellow for the Institute of New Economic Thinking (INET) and his work has been supported by the Gates foundation, the National Science Foundation, the C V Star Foundation, and the Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung (ZEW). He is advising the Prime Minister of Malaysia on its development strategies and has consulted for the World Bank, IMF, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Citibank, Danish Science Ministry, and the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) of the government of Japan.

Comin works on macroeconomics broadly understood. Part of his research consists of studying the process of technological change and technology diffusion both across countries and over time. A second avenue of his work studies the sources and propagation mechanisms of fluctuations at high and medium term frequencies. A third line of research pursued by Comin has explored the evolution of firm dynamics and their implications for the evolution of the US economy. His work has been published in academic journals, including the American Economic Review, the American Economic Journal, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics and the Journal of Economic Growth.

Comin has written the book Malaysia Beyond 2020 where he presents a new approach to development policy that aims to create a knowledge-friendly eco-system where companies can move up in the value chain.

God's grace is an excellent book for the older and younger Christian. It will help you to stop doing things for God and to help you to know how to let God do things through you. So you will never burn out when it is Christ in you doing the work for you.

Well written by a man who that has experienced both covenants. The Law and Grace. Scripturally backed and proven! Anyone that has felt that living the Christian life is hard needs to read this book. Jesus said "Take MY yoke upon you and learn of me, For MY yoke is EASY and MY burden is LIGHT!" As Christians we need to quit trying to live the Christian life and allow Jesus to live His Life through us! Thank you Wayne for a well written and scripturally based book!

Very helpful for those who doubt their salvation.

Very easy to read and very helpful as Pastor Barber's explains some of the difficulties that we christians experience. He explains how we are saved by GRACE and it isn't up to us to hang on in our own strength but depend on Christ who hangs on to us. Would recommend this to any christian that doubts and struggles in his christian walk. It is also a great training guide if you teach or tutor a class or Bible study.
