This book has been created to help develop an important chess skill - chess vision, the ability to see ahead in chess. However, it is not a book on tactics or calculation, it is to be used to train your mind's eye to see what the chess position will be several moves ahead. Many players could find a move if the position was on the board in front of them but in a real game they have to look ahead and see if the combination or move will be possible. This book gives tips and techniques and then 20 chess masterpieces to play through and practice on, each one packed with questions about a future position. Train with this book and you will improve your tactical accuracy, reduce blunders and absorb some of the finest moves, ideas, combinations and games ever played!

Not for the faint of heart
By H. Anzis
This book challenges the reader to follow 20 classic games from 80 to 160 years old in their heads and answer questions about the current position to test their recollection. After each set of questions the position is shown and more moves are given until the next set of questions. The book is exceptionally challenging but will reward those disciplined readers with an increased ability to visualize the chessboard in their head.

How to visualize!
By CascadeMike
This is an excellent book if you use it for its designed purpose, improving your skill with board visualization. It walks you through a series of classic games and provides questions every few moves that require you to answer questions before looking at a diagram. You must keep track of the changes in your head and be able to analyze features of the position without looking. It is a book about visualization not about how to play chess.

Better options available
By E.G
I purchased this book through Kindle. I thought I would take a chance on this book despite no reviews and no other chess books to compare with this author. In addition to tactics, one of the things I have been trying to work on is chess vision, and the ability to analyze a position and let the position dictate the next move. I found this a very dry book to get through, and not very helpful for my particular goals. I have recently purchased "Think Like A Grandmaster" and Jeremy Silman's most recent "How to Reassess Your Chess", and found them to be much better at achieving these goals.
